This one turned out quite nice... (its a close up (kit lens) of part of the cart)

I'm quite happy with this simple shot, what do you guys think (pity the theme is not "two")

I do like the way the colours in the foilage work with the rust on the iron. That said, an iron bar with two holes in it doesn't do much for me I'm afraid
![]() Nice composition - perhaps a bit more DOF would have resulted in slightly sharper edges at the outer ends of the bar, but otherwise nicely done - would go well with your other 'stock' photos ![]() *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
hehe... I think an iron bar can do a lot for a lot of people
![]() Yes... I find myself taking pics of rather random things... but I do like this one... there is something rustic and warm and quite autumnal about it... New page

Taking photos of stuff like that is all part of honing your skills. I like the colours of the metal complimenting the Autumn leaves on the ground. When i look at the pic i get a feeling of unhappiness, like it's the last day of a four week holiday and tomorrow i have to go back to my dreary life at work, or perhaps it's been a fantastic summer and now a long cold winter is upon us... you know what i mean.
It's amazing what an old peice of metal and a few leaves can do ![]() Steve.
