Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.
Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

LIKE? I love this shot Mic! It's beautiful, bought a tear to my eye, and showed my fiancee the image and she said in a typically female but cute squeely voice 'ooooh she's soo cute'. My monitor may be not well callibrated to yours but I would like to see maybe a TAD more bridghtness to this image, but as I said, it may be my monitor.
Oooh the 17-55, makes me want it even more now, didn't think that was possible. Anyone want to donate one to me?
Geoff. PS - Can you please post the colour image as well?

Mic - another stunning pic from your lens and of your little one too - my only comment would be to try and lighten her face a little

Had you used flash I think this would be contest winning shoe in. It transcends the photo and literally oozes with life. Congrats.
I agree with Chris, definitly lighten the face a tad.

I too love this pic Mic, and agree her face just a tad lighter would be nice. Her left side is a bit to dark but great picture, a moment to treasure for sure.
Cheers
John

Betcha didn't try removing the leading space from the filename.
I'd like to have seen the face lightened up a little ...

Ditto that on the lightning of her face. Viewed on my Viewsonic G810 at work and at home (same model monitor) and it's too dark.
