Simon (Manta) and his family are in town for a few days next week - 4th - 8th inclusive - staying in Milsons Point. Who's up for dinner, perhaps a photoshoot, or something like that? Suggestions, please. g.

Simon busy weekends and the evening, but available weekdays, either for a coffee to say hi and orientate you or more if you like. I can understand the trials of balancing family requirements

Are you at The Vibe or Milson Apartments?

 Glen,

The Vibe. Sunday may be slightly problematic for us, in that it's my mum's birthday that week, and that's the day she's holding her birthday party. Evening on should be fine. I was thinking in terms of a Sunday sunset shoot followed by a dinner at a pub somewhere ... g.

Sounds like fun! Keep me informed and I'll do my best to get involved. Simon...if you have a room at the Vibe facing onto the railway station you can get some great snoop shots at night!

            Regards

		Matt. K
Bugger, I wont be able to make it any of those weekdays and I have something planned on the 6th already...

 OK ..

Thus far we have ... Rod Glen Kyle Matt K Kris and Pat Yip? Steffan The Starks Mick and Donna Jeff Andre Chi Geoff Sounds like a start. What about a Sunday afternoon/evening stroll through The Rocks, finishing with a pub dinner? We should be finished from my mum's lunch well before 4, so we could, say, meet around 4 or 5 somewhere under the Bradfield. Earlly starters might want to take in the Rocks markets beforehand? Does that sound like a possibility? Last edited by gstark on Sun Dec 31, 2006 10:13 am, edited 3 times in total.

I've been looking for an excuse to get some nighttime photos of Sydney, this sounds like a good one

I've noted Jeff's mobile number so that he can be kept appraised of the details.

The markets run from 10 through 5. My thoughts are that those who wish can wander through the markets from whenever till around 4-ish, at which point Leigh and I should be there, and we can then meet at, say, the upper end of the area where the markets are held, and then we can start our formal wanderings. SHould still be lots of light, there's a couple of pubs close by with some trad jazz as well - the bands play till 7 - so no shortage of things to see and do. g.

Woo hoo! Sounds like it's going to be great! I'm really looking forward to finally catching up with you all. Sunset sounds like the perfect time too. Thanks Gary for organising this.

Don't know what the weather forecast is but hope we get a good evening for this. Become a bit like Melbourne lately - never know what to expect.

Gary, do you know any of the bands playing on Sunday? See you all there - those attending that is. Cheers, Mick
 Mick,

Robbers Dogs are at the Fortune Of War hotel from 3 till 6, and I think there may be a couple of other regular, but unlisted, gigs in the area. We'll be there around 4 or so, I expect, following my mum's birthday bash. Everyone else still coming? I should give Simon a call and see how he's enjoying Sinneytown. g.

I aim to be there, but it depends on if and how much sleep I get after coming home from work at around 8:45am.

Can I propose that those don't want to meander through the rocks markets from 2pm (not me as I'll hopefully be asleep)...then the rest of the gang meet at/outside the Orient Hotel at The Rocks at about 5pm-5:30pm? We can meet, then meter

I won't be able to meander either as it's 2nd xmas lunch on Sunday. So 5-5:30 sounds good. Cheers,

Rocks Markets, after about 4. 0403 967 113 will be my number for the event. Late starters will be accepted as long as they bring a note from their kids. g.

That means we are very likely to be unlucky in a few years?!

I'm still in. I'll likely be around the markets around 2 or 3 and if I still can't find anyone, I'll look for a sleepy Geoff at 5 at the Orient

I'll be the whole day in Sydney. I'll likely be along the coast walking in the morning. If I can get up early, I may even try a sunrise around OH. Looks like a good day coming up on Sunday, look forward to it. cheers, André Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution. Hi all!

Just quickly checking my emails from the hotel PC.... Team Manta will be there when we can - we haven't decided what we're doing yet but I'm sure Stephanie and the girls will anjoy the markets so I guess we'll meander across the Coathanger in the mid-afternoon. Gary and a few others have got my mobile, and I theirs, so it's all good. Oh and thanks for the weather you've put on for us Sydney! Just like Brizzy but without the humidity!! My daughters want to move here and have already picked out their harbourside residences. Why let reality get in the way of a good plan?? Simon

Hoping to still attend, have to go to a gig at Middle Harbour Yacht Club from 1.30 - 4.30

So will contact Gary when I make it Cheers Rod
 Hi guys,

With regret, I can say that it's highly unlikely I will be attending this afternoon. Apart from work being crazy, I have a few family circumstances that I need to be around for. I am really sad I wont' be able to go, but thems the brakes. Have fun and take LOADS of great shots and post them up!! Geoff
