Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

G'day all,
Went for a cruise up to the Cora Lynn Falls between Marysville and Camberville a few days ago and just had a play with one of the images to get your thoughts...
Unfortunately I went the wrong day and went on a sunny morning so blew some highlights in most shots, always bracketed 3 images for each etc. to try and save... Anyway...
Spent some time scrambling around in gumbies etc (always cleaned after each walk to make sure I don't spread any dirt borne bacteria on boots between locations etc.) for a couple of hours, went back to Marysville and had an absolutely YUMMY swag of poached eggs (runny yoke), lotsa bacon on toast with a coffee.... Ahhh, I could get used to not working...
Anyway, just had a play with PP, let me know your thoughts...

Pity about the sun, that early morning sun must come straight down the valley. I like the POV, how did you get down on to the creek from the platform?. Looked steep and muddy when I was there.

G'day mate, been there a few times and I just try to be very careful of the environment when I go and just step over the low fence... Camera was on tripod and about 500mm above the water. Go for a short wander, magic spot, but I try to be mindful of where and how I go to not disturb anything...

I am sucker for waterfalls also.
dont get tired of looking at time exposures of em.
Sometimes its worth carrying a ND filter to help with brighter highlights.
even a polariser reduce the light a little

G'day mate,
Yep used a Circ Pol, the landscaper's best friend (don't have a grad ND though which I'd love to try) which loses probably 1.5 stops, normal thickness one though not slim, no vignetting at all though even at 12mm or at least none that I've noticed...

Hey Mudder. I'd be happy with that shot if I took it. A couple of suggestions though, perhaps you could try and make the green of the foliage and the rock in foreground less of a yellow-y green and more of a deeper darker greener colour, and also bring out the brown in the log a bit more. I think that would make a good picture even better.

That's a thought, my monitor has been fiddled with recently, so it could be that which is a bit off. Look forward to seeing what you come up with though.

Love the shot Andrew, peaceful and calming with the silky smoothness of the water a perfect foil for the earthiness of the moss etc.
