This is an area for you to post images so that you may share with us a technique that you have mastered, or are trying to master. Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.
Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Hi everyone
Haven't been around for ages, home life seems to have taken up all my time and the camera has been gathering dust!
Managed to sneak a few hours at the weekend, I just need a few more to process the images now!
Heres the first one, 50mm ISO 200 1/500 f2.5

Well I'm off to bed now, so I'll catch up with you guys tomorrow (hopefully), but I've been really busy at home and at work.
In the process of setting up my own business, something to tick over for the next year or two to then go full time + I've had a promotion at work and been given more to do there as well.
Talk about burning the candle at both ends!!

Lovely shot Charlie, nicely composed and lovely colours.
I spoke to my sister in London the other day and she told me it was bloody freezing. Apparantly there is talk of the Thames freezing this year!! I can;t wait to call them Christmas day whilst sipping on a cold one and enjoying some beautiful fish from the barbie!!!

Love it CC. Chris, personally I love the variety of weather that Europe provides. I was there from the beginning of december last year and to feb in both France and the UK and to be honest it was only a few degrees colder than Melbourne. God, I've left myself open now haven't I
Matt, I do predict that Europe will be hit with a cold winter this year. It's sort of predictable as we've had a mild winter and are most likely to get a hot summer. The other side of the hemispher will get the same.
He's from Kent, but lived here most of his life but like most brits can't get rid of his accent
