Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. That's amazing Matt... Perhaps a little judicious cloning in the earhole may make it even more flattering

Well I have to comment, don't I.
I think the face is a little orange and I'm concerned about the earwax, but otherwise the treatment works superbly. In particular I think the arm, watch and camera work fantastically well at a textural level with this treatment. Next time get a better looking subject. Peter

I suggest you have a look at what ISO setting you're using Matt... quite a bit of noise in the shot... oh... and by the way... time to clean the sensor... there appears to be an enormous dust bunny smack bang in the middle !!!

This mite sound a bit trite....but I don't know the exact procedure! From memory, I converted to lab colour and split the channels. I saved A or B channel as a seperate file. I then opened that file and pasted it onto the original file and dropped the opacity a little to let some colour through. Then flattened the layers. I then went to curves and bumped the contrat up high. Made a copy of the layer and filled it with noise. Went to blur/movement and added some blurr. That's it....roughly. Regards
