Lucky enough to spend a week in Torres Strait last week. Apart from being hot and muggy it was also photogenic.

Hi Willy wombat

Some interesting shots there.

I like the third one the best, the cloud and the colour of the sky is great.

Just one suggestion the second photo you could perhaps crop a little off the bottom and make it more of a panorama while at the same time removing some of the dark area at the bottom which does not add a lot to your photo.

I take it the sunsets were pretty awesome up there.

Just my 2 cents :)

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions Paul.

The sunsets were very nice. Must be something to do with the atmosphere.

Nice photos did you get to do any fishing?

What were you doing up there? It is a place I would love to get to someday.

I love that first sunset, with the token dark cloud. Very typical of FNQ and TSI.

I got some flashbacks from the first image :) TI hasn't changed much, but the water is much bluer. Do i spy a customs patrol boat alongside too?

KK - yes it was a Customs boat. They were unloading "somwthing" that night and closed the wharf off. Curiosity being what it is - I wanted to go for a look but i guess a dude walking around with a big camera would have made them even more nervous.

No Photograph everything! I am planning to go and photograph the Airport and oil refinery preferably at night :-)

I hate people telling me what I can and cannot photograph! as long as I am on public land and not photographing commonwealth defense establishments It is legal.
