About Buildings....Here are some pics I've losely grouped under the "building" banner. I'm attempting to experiment a little more and try and see things from a slightly different perspective. Please critique away!

Interesting stuff K. Like them a lot.
I know where the last two are but the first? Shavings is probably my favourite. Sorry - better critique coming up after I run a quick errand... Simon

It's the Fujitsu Building, on the corner of Longlands St. (I live at Teneriffe too!) TFF (Trevor)

I thought it was.
I think you've done well with the composition on that one but I'd be really interested to see it under different lighting situations. Looks a bit harsh at the moment. The Powerhouse wall shot is probably trying to include a bit too much in one bite. There are a lot of textures and shapes and the eye doesn't really know where to look or settle. A closer crop to highlight the 'morse' look might work better? Shavings? Well, as I said before, I like this one. It's simple, it's beautifully lit (I don't care about the blown highlights at the rear) and I can almost smell that pine frame. ![]() Last edited by Manta on Thu Nov 10, 2005 10:15 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Sorry - should've posted my thoughts earlier:
I like #1, good composition, strong lines. I agree with Simon on #2 I think #3 has potential, but the background spoils it a bit. Try a norrower crop, or even some guassian blur. Keep posting. ![]() TFF (Trevor)

these are good examples of stock photography..... with the second one i'd suggest cropping away just blow the grey block at the utmost top of the image.... gives it a completely different feel in my opionion...
nice.... cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
