Nice selection of shots there mitedo.
I've been meaning to go back thru there some time, been quite a few years and always struck me as a rather scenic area. Canon 20D and a bunch of lovely L glass and a 580EX. Benro tripod. Manfrotto monopod. Lowepro and Crumpler bags. And a pair of Sigma teleconverters, and some Kenko tubes. http://www.dionm.net/
Well i think they all look great, 1 and 2 i like most but hey i would be happy with these pics for sure well worth the trip well done.

Always come up with the top series, I love them & your techniques.

The weathered weatherboard & tanks and the Railway pub do it for me. Both are full of potential for a subsequent excursion with more time and different light.

Excellent images Kevin. They really show the character of the town. I really like #2 but enjoyed looking at them all.

These are fantastic! The colours are so vibrant! The second one would be my pic, just love it, and I think would look great in B&W too.
I'm a sucker for rust and weathered wood, so the third and the last do it for me too!! Love this kind of stuff, it's so typicaly Australian! Makes me want to get out into the country now with my camera in tow......who wants the kids for a couple of days?? ![]() Well done, a fantastic series.
A very nice series of photos. I really like the 2nd one.

Talk about frames, those ones there in that action that i have changes the size of my pics to a strange size, as i used to use that a long time ago. The double matte frame.

The good thing about the action is that you can go in and change things to the way you like them - resize /sharpen / change boarder colours & so on, i have mine set up so that after nef to jpeg i hit the button a few times & the pic is resized /sharpend/ & sent to a folder i have chosen

G'day Kevin,
You could wander around these sorts of places for ages, love old homesteads and farm remains like old cattle grates and ramps... I assume you used a polariser? Great definition and texture in the sky, the greens seem a smidge saturated for me though... Are ya gonna try these in B&W with some grain and vignette huh, huh, huh ![]() Aka Andrew
Hi Andrew i used the 12-24 nikon with a Hoya UV-CPL no sat added in the grass this is how all the shot's came out from the camera, the green realy stand's out in all the shots i took, shots were taken in A RGB Color Mode II
this one is straight from the camera ![]() Kevin
