Creating a collageHello all you knowledgable people.

My dad's 60th is coming up in a few months time, so my sister and I thought to prepare a collage of many photos (including those B&Ws from his young days) and some of my D70 photos. The way to do it is taken from S. Kelby's book. Choose a base photo (high res D70 one as this will be enlarged singnificantly). Use scans of old B&Ws (in RGB format to avoid grayscale) and put on top as layers and blend in using gradients and soft brush. Any ideas/ comments/ suggestions? I hope to print it 20 x 30 or so. Thanks Alex

There are also programs specificaly designed to do this. Two I'm aware of: Mosaic Creator Andrea Mosaic and a sample: ![]() Peter

Alex you are going in the right direction with layers and brush blending and it can all be done in PS with no problems
