Like your series... Sounds like hard work, driving for long distances like you do... BTW you may be able to take out some of the last few images...They are all evoking the same feeling of movement, chaos anyways so one might be enough.

Hey James - great series, and glad you had a safe trip Some of those shots are amazing considering the conditions you were shooting under !!! I really like the shot of the clouds over the cane fields, and have sent you a pm..... well done !!! (I agree with Surenj re cutting a few of the final shots though )

Thanks lads, glad you enjoyed the post The road trip was just what I needed. It's great to just drop everything and hit the road for a solid few days and check out the towns and countryside along the way..

James has given me permission to post this, so this is a reworked shot of the cane and storm clouds shot from above. I kept on coming back to it, and well, this is the result ... Thanks James

Great series James, I really enjoyed the whole thing. Some shots are routine, some are unusual, all are interesting and engaging.
 Great post.

James. Great series. They bring back some terrific memories for me when I used to travel with my dad on school holidays. Air con, cruise control! One truck dad had had armstrong steering.
 Regards, Neil.

Terrific effort - know all the road so well it's intersting seeing your take on it. And what a great exercise taking only one lens - well done. You've told the astory so well.
And what a good exercise it would be for a grou to to - drive somewhere and all have only one lens with restricitions on size.
