has anyone dealt with these guys for warranties before?
thanks
Katie

				Hi Katie,
I haven't dealt with them before but generally I would say it depends on:
a) how much it is
b) what exactly is covered, made sure you read the fineprint
Also I would only consider this for a camera, not a lens. Lenses hardly ever break down when treated properly, I haven't had one fail yet. My D70 on the other hand failed about 4 months after the 12 month warranty expired. It cost me over $300 to fix.

Last time I looked into this the extended warranty you purchase covers only manufacturing defects so you need to weigh up the cost vs the chance of such a defect becoming apparent AFTER the manufacturers warranty expires
