I have spent a fortune in petrol the last two weekends, so doubt I'll make it, although I need to get down soon so I can get some hands on to decide on a 50 or 85 prime lens. Do you have the 50s and the 85s or do I need to rely on Glen bringing his collection when I visit in a few weeks.
Weekend after Easter I'm in Rutherglen so I'll probably make it on 9/4.
Fozzie
Shame I'll miss both you and the reds (in that order).

stubbsy,
Forget about the "Zoom Zoom" get the one with equipped solar cell then no more talk about the fuel! you're not fill up your car! you filled up the Govt. coffin same as I do.
What do you mean: if or do I have the 50 or 85?
I do have the 50/1.4, 85/1.4 for my own collection, even I don't use much the 50 nowaday.

Wish I could make this one (easter lunch (feast) sounds very good

It has been way to long since I tasted Mrs Birddogs cooking

) but I will be away.
Looking at the calendar I think I shoudl be able to make the 9th or 16th.

Sorry birddog. I meant would there be those lenses there for me to play with. I'm guessing the answer is yes. Why don't you use the 50?

Minor point of order - Easter Saturday is actually the 26th.
I've added these events to the calendar.

				stubbsy,
Yes, I have those lenses here for you to do the test shoot.
I have so many lenses, so, my main use are: 28/1.4, 17-35, 28-70/2.8, 85/1.4, 105DC/2, 70-200VR and 200-400VR.
I use the 50/1.4 at some other times.

I ran it over Gary's effort above - it barely registered!

Cricketfan, I would guess that Gary's comment has probably been used a few times in the past to Leigh, his son. The name play would add to it

I could do with one of those to hang up in the home. Can you courier it over here?
I also need a portable one that I can embed in a phone.

Since the Film meet is incredibly outdated, it'll be happening on Easter Saturday, 1995.
If you have your time machine handy, it'll promise to be an exciting meet! We'll be discussing how we're all going to be replaced by digital cameras in 10 years!

Nothing says I love you like a counter-terrorist unit firing assault rifles and throwing flashbangs at you!
We'd probably need to play some military flight sims and have Birddog beat every one of us...

On a serious note, Birddog probably requires numbers as usually his wife is gracious enough to supply lunch, as this is the Easter weekend there is possible no way that she can duck out and grab extra food if a few unannounced visitors arrive.
Hope you understand where he is comming from

I'll just make a Flash version of the D2x for myself. I'll never know the difference (I'll believe my own lies, provided I've drunk enough before I tell myself it...).
We could make a cardboard cut-out shell of a D2x and mount it over the D70 for her!
Better yet, we could take the cardboard cut-out version of the D2x to a Westfield!
