Good work, Geoff.

Can you lighten up the face of the bassist a little? I'm sure the detail is there; probably just a minor curves adjustment to bring it up a bit.

The one of the dresses is on the hangers is very nice.

Thanx for your comments Gary, I've adjusted the pic now and I think it looks better, what about you?

Hi Geoff,

I saw you pic before hand but now its looks kind of overprocessed.

Just wondering which of your lens you used for those pics. They look great.

Hmm..yeah bit of a quick job with the curve fixing, looks ok on my monitor. These were all taken with the 70-200VR.

The face looks a lot better now, but I'm a tad concerned about the guy's shirt; it looks like a doof-doof car's mica paint job now. Of course, he may have been wearing a shirt that reflects colours differently like that .... :)

What does it look ,like if you pull the contrast back a notch? It was quite sunny out there, and the contrast range os going to be your enemy here.

You didn't, perchance, catch Peter Ind this afternoon? He was playing the Oceanfront stage between 3 and 4 this afternoon.

A true gentleman, and one of the world's better bassists.

It sure was sunny Gary - I think everyone was happy about that, especially the dog!! I didn't get to see Peter Ind no, we had to leave at about 2:30pm. Great few hours out though, I haven't been for a few years. :)

The more I see good, shallow DOF shots, the more I realise I'm going to have to buy myself a faster piece of glass one of these days.

Great shots Geoff. Must have been a great day down there. I didn't make it down there, but at least my lawns look a bit tidier for when my parents visit on Monday....

Cheers
