G'day all,

Last weekend I took some skateboarding shots where a competition was running and I've decided to share with you a couple of pics that I've had mixed reactions with. See what you think? critique away.

This shot was taken with my flash in one hand and the D70 in the other and the guy traveling at pace....

I wouldn't mind seeing larger version, but I like the composition! The images also definately convey a sense of action. The background detracts a bit in the second one, I think, but I don't know if there's much you could do about that.

Hi Bill, there a bit smallish to really pick on them, but #1 works for me i think it looks good and the use of flash fills in the dark shadows. This is good to use flash for fill on good days a lot of people forget but it works.
I think they are both good.

Hey Bill. I like the shots and agree with what's been said before. Be great if you could get some eye detail to really show what these guys are thinking and feeling.
