Wedding this last Saturday - 56k WARNING

Storm and I shot our first wedding this past weekend. Thank you all soo much for the various advice we'd gotten in previous threads before the event.

We'd both exercised our SB800's before this event, but I still remain astounded at what it's capabilities are. Inside we bounced everything off ceilings and walls, and outside we shot straight at the subject either through the onboard diffuser, or with the included dome.

Here's some shots from the day. *PLEASE* provide critique, but keep in mind it was our first one.

OOPS, just realized I hadn't uploaded the ceremony or reception yet :P

I'll have to add the rest tomorrow.

Rich, nice and natural looking (even the carefully arranged train), I might be tempted to PP the interior shots to give them a bit more oomph.

Rich, the lack of shadows works for me but may I offer an opinion, that when taking the pictures of people you think about your position. In the 2nd and 3rd photo, it may have improved the shot if you had bent your knees slightly, so we the viewer get an eye to eye view. Colours are nice and subtle, well done for your first wedding and I am sure they will be more than happy with them.

Great work Rich :)

Only thing I don't like is the 3rd pic., everything is great except for the flowers on her dress.

I pretty much agree with Glen... Excelent composition, they look fantastic... But I think a little PP will go a long way...
