Black flying fox feeding in our front yard last night

Caught in the act feeding on Loquat tree fruit.

Like the pic, reminds me of the feeding frenzy that used to take place in our two fig trees before they blew down. They're nice critters but do a lot of damage.

Mudder - I think the term 'he sh*t himself' comes to mind - judging from the size of the bat dropping on the ground under the tree this morning !!
