needed a tripod.......

these two were shot using 24-120 with hoya closeup +4 +2 together. Subject in both shots was about 1 1/2- 2cm in size. The DOF is quite shallow as I was hand holding the camera

Looks like you're hooked on macros, BP. :twisted:

It is a lot of fun, but can also be frustrating with the shallow DOF. You just about have to either use ISO1600 in daylight for decent DOF or get an sb800. Even then, it's quite a challenge to get good shots, hand held. :?

May have been done to death, but there's something beautiful to marvel at in nature's handiwork in that first shot. Guess a few reds helped replace the tripod. :wink:
