Jeff,
Congrats on the new acquisition! You have achieved the performance of the Sigma 70-200, again the guy behind the viewfinder.

Calling Nikkor 70-200VR seeker,
It's the way to go, the Sigma 70-200 can do a good job as the 70-200VR, why should you wait and hesitate to grab one while its competitor is out of range and no future of stock available.

Even if it's the COKE bottle, but it can show the magnificient shots around this board.

Many happy campers are around here.

Jeff,
great shot - I love the vibrancy of the shot (although at this very early stage of the drag he would have been doing, what, only about 200 kph? ), and the colours really jump out.

Jeff, great choice mate, and what a great picture as well. I love it, has the photogs at the back there and nice and colourful. You will enjoy it and for the bucks it's worth it.
Cheers
John

Awesome, Jeff! Nice, vibrant colours out of the Sigma. Interesting angle also!
Well done! :D
May have to explore this lens myself.
Cheers, Jase.

Thanks for the kind words, the lens performed well on it's first outing. My next purchase will be a tele convertor 1.4 or 2,I'm not sure what effect on picture quality ,looking for advice. The Sigma certainly has more contrast than my old Tamron.
Thanks
Jeff

Jeff, you must have a 'hair-trigger' finger. To get that shot at that moment is quite impressive.

Also cool is the rear tyre showing severe distortion.

You have great reflexes, 'like a tiger.'
