well, here goes, i've put in here 'cos my skin is thick enough to accept that this is not a classic, however i have just gone from taking - filing - resizing - uploading - copying to here - all with you guidance in the various threads, given this is all new to me i am a happy bunny....
thanks folks!
edit - touch smaller than planned - what have i done wrong? didnt want full screen but expected something say 4 times the size of the current image here - guess i need to learn how to adjust the image size - i used 800 on the long side with 'auto aspect ratio' so the short side looked after itself.....

Chris, I think you linked to the thumbnail, not the image. Get the image in pixspot at the size you want, then do right click properties, etc

Chris - the image is small because you got the properties of the thumbnail on pixspot and pasted that rather than the properties of the image displayed after you click the thumbnail.
Looking at the large version - there's nothing major to critique. It's a good shot - I like the cropping and the dark foreground works well with the glowing ember of sun at the bottom of that big curved hill.

Good stuff Chris. Like the silhouette of the mountain in the foreground.
