In addition to my Duck shots from yesterday, here are a few others that I liked from my outing.

1. I came across this tree that had an abundance of sap coming out of it:

IMO, the thistle photo is the best. Pity you posted it here - you could have entered it in the comp!

The sap looks kinda like wattle sap. When I was a child, I found some trees had very edible and tasty sap. No fat and sugar free too! Your photo reminded me about that.

Cheers Graham. I must admit I didn't even think about the comp when I saw it. Perhaps when I'm really happy with my photographic abilities, I'll put an entry in. Until then, I'm happy enough just sharing the pics on this forum for constructive critisism....

The thistle photo really shines, Dave. Very nice shot.

I had a half-way decent "three shot" that I posted this month, too. (Doh.) You still get the satisfaction of a great photo, right?! Good Work!

Dave - I will go with the sap pic - I have always been a ”sap” for unusual pics and you have caught a brilliant shot here that holds the mind until you know what it is.

It is an interesting shot too. I have to admit.

That sap photo os pretty interesting. It's something we don't see very often. The thistle is very good too. Well done.
