Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Stoney Point at Sunrise
Taken at Stoney Point first thing in the morning (when most people are still asleep), about two weeks ago on my last photo shoot.
Photo Details: Lens: 18-70MM DX (Kit Lens) Focal Length: 65MM Shutter Speed: 1/200 Aperture: F/14 ISO: 200 Metering: Matrix Mode: Manual WB: Auto Panoramic Factory used to stitch the photos together. Very tranquil Darryl, I would like to see it with a little more yellow/red saturation, did you use a tripod? Are the original images in JPEG or raw?

I agree with Ozi
Darken slightly and up the orangy redish glow subtly and you've got a terrific shot...well it's already a terrific shot, it is stunning actually and I like that you really went for it. All of that being said, if it was my shot and it was shot in Raw I would convert to Black and White, adding a touch of yellow, then frame it and hang it (but that tends to take me a few months).
Terrific, very ambient, very tranquil... Deservers to be printed and framed...
One question, are there soft halo's either side of the poles on the left? Dunno if they're really there or it's just me after a long day in front of the screen here at work... Very nice shot though, very frame worthy...

Mudder, there does seem to be on the left pole. I'll have to check on the original shot. Might have over done it on the USM. I considered converting it to B&W but didn't have any of the iNovaFX actions loaded. Will have to copy them over tonight.
