What a stunning capture Dee! You've really handled the harsh lighting situation well.

I love it as it is but, just as an exercise, would like to see a tighter crop eliminating most of the water at the bottom - leaving a panorama style framing. I'd have a go at it myself but I'm stuck on my work computer for the next 8 or so hours and it goes berserk if I try to upload images from here.

Aaahhhh. You've made a not-quite-so-old man very happy...!

Nice job Dee - now I don't know which one I like better. :? I suppose it would purely depend on where it was going to be displayed or what the end use was but the bottom line is that it's a great image to start with.

Why do my relatives have to live on the OTHER side of Canada!!!

Really great photo Dee... I too like the panorama format...

Simon... the pic was taken off the coast of Mexico not Canada...

Got me there John! (You've made up for ic crui.. :)

I DID read Dee's lead-in but something snapped in my brain.

I think you'll find though that "Puerto Vallarta" is the Salish indian term for "Bay that Looks Disturbingly Like Mexico".

All I need is a drink with an umbrella in it, and all will be well with the world.

Great shot Dee.

In the first shot I found the waves just a tad jarring. The crop made it much easier on the eyes. Great job, and way to nail the exposure. Such a clean shot like this, you make it look easy.
