what method did you use? the lasso, polygonal or freehand, or the pen?

Posted: Thu Apr 21, 2005 11:42 pmNice job Mic - does not need to be sharp at the edges as it gives a softer blend to the black. Not sure about it being centred 
An experiment for you. Select the background (with the magic wand) - invert (and I don’t mean negative) - copy and paste - then resize the flower on the new layer formed - just for fun

i like it, but my only critique is to crop in on the subject mor since it isTHE one and only focal point, and saturate the flower just a tad...

You go into Extract, I smart highlighted these, hit the bucket thingy and then o.k
You hit the move tool and it moves, just open up a new doc to whatever size you want and fill with whatever colour you want.
Just drag over and centre, I just use my eye, but there is probably something that you can do that I don't know how.
Someone will.
Have a go, it's fun.
