These are shots from a recent trip to WA. First time i have seen the sun set over the ocean.

I used the Nikon 28-200 ED primarily on the trip. Some general thoughts of this lens are:
1. The focal range is fantastic, this is the first time I've used a "super-zoom" and the convenience while traveling is great.
2. Sharpness in "Dynamic" mode was appalling (not sure why), in the other 2 modes it's the sharpest lens i've used in it's price bracket, even at 200mm.
3. A minimum focal length of around 50cm means you even have a limited macro capability without changing lens (especially if you have a close-up adaptor on hand)

I'll post a more complete review of this lens in the equipment section and post some more WA shots later (amazing beaches)

Beautiful sunsets, they're a magical time to take it all in huh... I just noticed too, this is only your fourth post, wow the first posts are getting good

I'd be tempted to have less of the dark foreground in the shot though (maybe a slight crop off the bottom), but that's only me, I like skies

Lovely colours, the reflection off the wet sand is great! I agree with mudder about the foreground (in the 2nd one); also one thing I'd prefer with the first is that the sun be in the middle of the frame, but it's nice regardless.
