These 4 shots were on auto using
50 1.8
18-70 kit
70 210 1:4 5.6
70-300G
I am just sharing my test . All 4 were taken as close as the AF would allow
What are your thoughts Why dose the colour change[yellow tint?] all taken with in 10 minuts no PP .

It seems that the more DOF you have the richer the background colour. The subject doesn't have a ton of colour to change it seems, each one looks pretty similar to me.

What was your light source? If it was daylight then the amount of clear sky/sun/clouds providing illumination to your subject will vary the colour balance a bit. If a cloud covers the sun, then the colour balance will shift towards the blue compared to earlier shots without the sun covered.

I notice the exposure varies slightly across the frames, that will sometimes change the apparent colour balance a little too.
Also if using auto settings for colour balance, the camera will be changing the colour balance slightly depending on the illumination..

so many variables!

Perhaps you should have done a pre-White Balance before each shot with the different lenses.

Anyhow, the 50mm 1.8 wins as i would have expected. :)

If the lighting didnt change, then I'd say it was all down to the camera adjusting the white balance. There is obvious difference in the exposures though, I wonder why that is?
