From the balcony after work one day. Is anyone here getting sick of sunsets? I think that this is the last one I post unless I have something spectacular.

Let me know if it's too big.

Yes, I think sunsets have to be really spectacular to be worthwhile.

I think this one is a little bland. There is a lot of dark foreground, and the sky is almost monochromatic.

It looks like you have a great view from your balcony.

I'd like to see some horribly boring and bland sunsets where you can't actually see the sun.

I never get sick of sunsets, this one is (IMHO) about a 6 - good but not spectacular.

There is just something about the rising and setting of the sun which is primally good. Possibly because it is an indication that you are still alive.

One thing I like about this one is the different tones in the ocean. For some reason I find it quite appealing. I do wish that there was more colour in the sky though. I get a little antsy if I haven't posted in a while.

A good 6? That's pretty good for me. I think I rate it at about 6 as well.

Nice dooda, I like a lot.

There is always Photo Shop, just a few little tweeks and you might pull an 8

Mic.

Wish I had a balcony with a view like that

even tho Dave's pic is a good one, i have always felt that sunsets are only good if they are not the main subject in the pic...

just my two cents...

Dave - the sky is an ever changing panorama of colours and, as such, I too like sunsets. :D

I agree totally with Greg B here. The rising and setting of the sun means the world that sustains us is still on the rails! Don't stop shooting sunsets/rises just because you're waiting for that special something. It's digital - you have already paid for the exposure.

I like this one, it's different - no trad reds/oranges to bee seen. The hue is understated and attractive and the dark foreground is dramatic enough to include. Just my 20 cents worth.....
