i took these at the local beach on the weekend, i couldnt get the kite and the boarder in the frame together, the girl was with the boarder and i asked if it was ok to take pics, and i have some great ones of them together ..... i could see the goosebumps and water droplets on her skin... i'm impressed with this lens..... when i was showing the partner the pics and came to the shot of the girl .... i got slapped ????? what's that about ????? i think its a good pic ! did i tell you i was impressed with this lens ??

RobW, great shots. Very clear and sharp.
PS you could get the kite and the boarder in the frame together, if you took the 200-400 and put the kit lens on.

Not that I would be doing that when you have the 200-400

WOW! Great shots!!
I have severe lens envy with acute 'not enuf money in my wallet syndrome'
The first shot looked a little too yellowish to me, so I tried making it look a little more natural. Could just be my monitor.

On second thought, now my pic looks too 'blue'. There's probably a comfy middle ground somewhere.

Yes, very sharp and impressive. I agree the first one does have a yellow shift to it. Would this be a white balance thing?
