Great pics. I really like the night shots in the city. This is something I'd like to do more of.

I remember those rocky Nicoise beaches. Lived their for a few months.

Wendell is one the guys I work with at the gallery on the weekend.

He's a really great guy who shoots on PHD's (he uses a Coolpix 8700 at the moment).

I'm not trying to convert him into a D70 user... he seems to be doing it himself, actually. :)

I've got to bring him to Birddog's one weekend.

Apart from the quality of the images, it's the design of the website that really impresses me !!!

Fantastic work and really creative.

Welcome fellow silly surfer

hi

thanks for the comments on my http://www.silly-coned-graphix.com site
much appreciated
Night shots in Sydney are great because sydney does not have much of a population, so no one really bothers you while your taking shots with a tripod late at night, it's a very safe city, i usually use an 8 second exposure with an f stop of 7 to get my results, but 30 seconds allows ambient light from the clouds colour the sky a dark blue which is really cool for night shots
i think on more sophisticated DSLR's you can change the Kelvin of the image for night shooting so dark tones look cooler like blue or warmer

best

Wendell

welcome fellow silly surfer
to the silly coned graphix website

thankyou for your comments, it's much appreciated

I just rty to see mundane things differently, like streetlights, wet roads at night etc, i think there is more to express in mundane subject matters, they are more abstract and people dont usually much attention to them.
So it makes any photo taken interesting.

On the other hand when travelling you cant help but take photos of the beautiful things you see, so i guess I am lucky to have seen some beautiful places

best

Wendell
