Micro Nikkor 105mm; 1/250 at F14; R1C1 with 2 X SB-200.

I just rotated the image - it defies gravity, but I think it is more aesthetically pleasing. :)

This is a fine, well detailed image, but for me I'd like gravity on my side rather than the image :wink:

Hiya Peter

Thanks for your feedback. After looking at it for a while in the original format where the bee is at the bottom of the image, I felt that it lacked interest. After a 90 degree rotation, I thought it was an improvement. The give away is the stamens drooping horizontally. :)

Still undecided. Original format below, and trimmed to square after that:

It's funny how a crop can alter an image. Having seen the last version here (the square crop) I can't imagine this any other way. The stamens droop properly, but the bee has the strong focus so two thumbs up for that version from me.
