i had a great time not only meeting everyone but learning stuff which i thought was a little scary, i cant wait to order the same gear now

Bloody fantastic day! Thanks to Gary and the wonderful Benedicta, who is now attending the dinner tonight here's a few of my first ones...

Geoff say thanks to your wife?fiancee? for encouraging you to pick up another women ;P Benedicta was so photogenic i hope she comes to another session or i atleast get to shoot her again sometime.

Benedicta was fun, confident and very easy going - it was a joy to photograph her!

Here's yet another one (this will be the Benedica thread me thinks)...of her taken with a non conventional portrait lens (Gary's 10-20 SIGMA)..I quite liked the angle and slight distortion. Thoughts?

All I did was a slight WB adjust and a very minimal usm after resize.

#1 #2 and #4 are great Kris. Exposure and sharpness are spot on.

Here are mine from what was a fantastic day - Gary's education was invaluable, and we were truly lucky to have Benedicta as a patient and beautiful model. It was also good to meet new faces.

Thanks Geoff - I think everyone took amazing photos yesterday - it helps having a model like Benedicta and a teacher like Gary.

Rather than single any one out I just want to say there are great images here from all who've posted which I guess shows the strength of the day and the beauty of the model (and perhaps some talented photographers too )

Edit: Damn you Kris. I keep going back and looking at your second shot. There is something wonderful about the composition and your expsoure etc that really make that image a sublime photo. So I've just done what I said I wouldn't do!
