it would be a better shot without the bird in the background..... next time,
as I was there to get some shots of birds landing, still trying.....

BP, that first one is a classic with the front on shot of the pelican. I never realised how wide their beaks were. They could swallow a whale

I agree, the 2nd would be stronger without the background birds, but heh, it's still pretty good.
