controlled burn!

got a phone call at 1 in the morning today from a mate of mine telling me to go out with him and get shot off this... im glad i did! even if i did have to be in the city by 8:30 this morning.
this was taken from outside my front door using the almighty 70-300G
@ f8 for 30 sec
this one we drove 1 minute to, to get to a good view... 50mm 1.8 @ f5.6 for 30 sec

Was well worth the effort judging by these shots. Both images are fantastic

. My pick is the 2nd because of the context.

love them both but #2 my fav.
I have always wanted to get some pics from the #2 location. and when i saw the fire i knew it had to be done right then.
