Focussing, colour and exposure are very good. Your PPing is excellent too, but i reckon it's not your dogs best angle. The hind legs are a bit distracting and seem to take away a bit of impact form the dogs face/snout.

That's what i think about it anyway, but that's me. I used to have a dog that looked very similar. He was a German shepherd/Labrador cross.

Good work though.

Your photo is beautifully sharp and a nice portrait
Perhaps a slight angle change more to the front might have been better
Anyhow, when you love your dog who cares what the angle is - any photo is excellent!!
