Took this photo this morning when mates and I went rock fishing. Weather was windy, drizzly and overcast.
The color shot I wasn't too hot about so I converted it to b/w. Added a bit more atmosphere/mood to the pic

Anyhoo how can I improve this image?

Your post-processing on the image is excellent and if that is the mood you were looking for then well done. It's a pity the scene is a bit drab and uninteresting. There doesn't seem to be any focal-point in the image. Perhaps next time add your friends fishing or maybe a naked female model draped delicately over a rock.

Still, it's a good framework for further experimentation.

If you crop off the bottom third and make it more of a pano it might work better
