These are both great. As said above the detail in the second is amazing. But I also like the first due to how you've framed it with the leaves.

Gooseberry, the second shot it actually my favourite building in all of Singapore, and also the subject of one of my favourite photos (my 333 photo taken with my brand new D70). I love the processing on this one please explain in some detail how you achieved this.. I'll be in Singapore in June for a wedding and I'd love to create a similar feel.. (using maybe a different angle).

The first shot is also very nice, great framing with the foliage.
Maybe we can catch up in June, I'd be keen to meet up!

Sorry for the late reply Craig, been away for a couple of days. Yeah, it is a very nice building isn't it ? As for the processing, for both images, after NEF conversion, I did some selective curves adjustments to different parts of the image (the sky, the bright parts of the buildings, the dark parts of the buildings, the leaves etc) to try and bring out the tones I wanted and to even out the exposure a bit. After that, did a B&W conversion in channel mixer (added a warm selenium tone to the first one) and softened the overall image a little, then finally resized the image and did an edge sharpening.
