Apparently there was a storm last night - did anyone see it?

May as well join the party.
I couldn't be bothered going outside to take these photos, so just took them through our bedroom window - hence the water on the window (and no, the camera/tripod is not permanently set up in the bedroom!

).
Cheers

I like the first one. I think the pattern in the drops on the window glass really adds to the effect.

Thanks guys - I never comment on my own photos, but the reason I prefer the first is that it seems (to me) to almost have a 3D effect, in that the upper portion of the lightning seems to be coming towards me before turning down towards the ground.

I agree Patrick I really like the 3D affect give by the glass and rain drops.. it also looks a little scifi, like there is a gravitational pull near the top drawing the drops (or asteriods to the source of power).

Thanks Craig, although it sounds like you have been watching too much Futurama?

While I've seen it, there are a lot of other Sci-fi's I prefer, Dr Who being a childhood favourite.. (A Police phone box in flight wouldn't look too our of place in this shot).
