Hey everyone,
I took this photo of one on my sons as we were playing in the tree. I'm interested to see what other think of it?

Wow, a great image, very appealing.. bit weird as it looks lovely on my CRT but on my LCD.. I can see some patches on his forhead and cheeky.. like "light patches" I think the problem is at my end.

But a gorgeous image, print it big on canvas!

Very nice shot!

Not quite an off-the-cuff snapshot while you were playing in the tree I think though   Looks like you used a carefully planned lighting setup - I'm guessing this from the way the shadows fall, and the double highlight in his left eye - care to share your lighting arrangement?

Cheers

Edit: I'll take a guess - Sunlight, plus off-camera flash to camera right, triggered via optical slave from the on-board flash.

No actually i was playing with him in the trees. I liked the way the light fell so I asked him to climb it for me. He started to climb it and then popped his head around the tree trunk and I quickly took the photo.
He was 2 1/2yr in the photo so not the most co operative of models. Found it better to play games with him and try and get some candid shots off
