Hello,

this is the part.2 of my yesterday shots.

I have used a 35mm f1.4 AIS and the kit lense with my D70s.

I always appreciate your oppinion and your comments.

Of all of your images I think the last one is the best. It's great to see some creativity flowing....even if sometimes it doesn't quite work. I think a touch of flash fill on the last one...say at minus 1.7... would have lifted the image just a little and given it more snap. It would have opened the shadows around his eyes a little. Nice work! Thanks for posting.

love the colour and styling of the 3rd pic as well. The rim lighting from the sun is great

The 2 B&W’s are standouts - a grubby scene deserves the B&W treatment - well done

Some really nice and different images here.

#2 and #4 are the winners in this set, a man a trumpet and a ramshackle old house.. its a interesting concept and one that makes you ask questions.


The other two are interesting since he's using the trumpet, not really as a trumpet, one like any olypmic torch and one like a telescope. This different use of the trumpet makes the shots a little unnatural, but I like being made uncomfortable by them. (if that makes sense)

I would pick the last one, and the second one after that. The B&W do it on these, but on number two, I find that he is looking away to much. I think it might look better with his head turned slightly more towards the camera.

Good creative thinking though!

Nice work Theodorus. I prefer the B&W shots too.

As Matt said a bit of flash fill on the last would have been good.

I find the toilet bowls a bit distracting in the second shot and IMHO would prefer if they were cropped out.
