I had a similar thing once. I posted about it and it seems it has happened to quite a few people: http://www.dslrusers.net/viewtopic.php?t=15654&highlight=help

My images aren't there any more but you can see a similar image posted by Glen.

I don't think it's anything to worry about unless it keeps happening on a regular basis, and then you may need to invest in a new card/card reader.

Cheers

does there also happen to be two files of the identical name in a different folder?
i found that its usually either the last image in the first folder and the first image in the next folder that tends to have some kinda corruption- usually for me its half the image is black and the upper half is part of the picture.

the other day i ended up with photos in three different folders- is this normal? (i didnt do anything to it.. apart from maybe leave the power on and randomly use the AF assist lamp to find the keys in my bag)

This happens now and then in the studio with the P25 - we keep the files in a folder on the server in the hope that one day a client will ask for a "purpley pinky smudgey dark line-art impressionistic freaky arse" photo so we can sell them!! :D

At this stage they're gathering cyber-dust and producing bugger-all dollars!

No one seems to appreciate random accidental art these days!!
