We stayed with friends in drought stricken Goulburn at their farm where they have been hand feeding their cattle for five years. I fell out of bed before dawn to take a couple of snaps. This is one of them!

Gotta love the "egg yolk" sunrises. I know how your friends feel. Hay is $19 a bale down our way. Hope your friends got silage or own a hay farm....lovely photo BTW

Well worth falling out of bed for. The colour is pretty amazing. I also saw the B&W version on your pbase site and that works really nice as well.

Wow! Maybe I should make it a thing to sleep precariously on the side of my bed and fall out of it more often.

Great capture Sheila, a bit different from your usual candids and street photos but impressive nonetheless.

Thanks all. Here is another shot I took that morning. I went to turn on the tap to get a drip (as you would!) for the shot but of course there was no water! I then noticed the spider's web which is not too apparent at first glance

Both shots are gorgeous Shelia but I noticed a fairly obvious halo style aura around the tap, was that intentional or a result of your PP ?

Yep, the halo was my Sony PP! I was trying to lighten the image enough to see the spider's web but still trying to keep the tap in silhouette. Back to the drawing board....
