Fresco

My uncle and aunt asked Pat and I to photograph their son's christening, which took place yesterday.

Took the new WA toy along in the hope of getting a few shots of the church. This is the Serbian Orthodox church in Blacktown, Sydney. It's ugly as anything from the outside but has some quite cool frescoes inside.

Took these after the ceremony. The priest got into this shot by accident, he was rushing me out as he had somewhere else to be, but I think he really adds to it anyway. Would like to know what you guys think. Any suggestions for PP are welcome, too. Unfortunately the windows are completely blown so I can't salvage any detail there.

Kris

These are fantastic shots of what looks like a beautiful place. A great introduction to your use of the new toy. The light is great too which is always a problem with churches. You must go back there again.

The first image with the priest in it is excellent. You're right, he does add an extra 'human' element to the image. :)

Thank you Stubbsy and Killakoala.

Stubbsy, yes, no doubt I will be back there eventually, all the various family ceremonies are held there.

Here is an alternative edit of #1, thanks to Pat's PS skillz.
