wow.i read some where that lens isn't any good.i think the parrot proves that wrong.

Pretty good demonstration of the lens everyone is wondering about. The red on the parrot is supurb!

Thanks for the comments folks.

I have to say that since getting this lens it has hardly been off the camera. Very versatile and a sharp as it needs to be :D

Marco, yes to pre-focus and I was about 1.5m away with the 18-200 sitting around 60mm for the flight shots.
