Every time I get near a gecko it just takes off......... I would have better luck with the very large huntsman spider who thinks the front screen door is it's private hunting ground at night.........but a nice capture.......

Thanks BP - was lying down on the ground under the rock while the gecko was coming down towards me. Not the most comfortable of positions You should take a shot of the huntsman - they are a cool cool spider

And I haven't forgotten, we will organise a frog/insect/thing minimeet in the coming month sometime..... maybe we should just aim for January?

I am not going away this year, so anytime is good for me, I am setting up a Metz CT45 with a bit of a defuser come tent, with a bit of internal bounce or reflector, should have plenty of punch to work at f11 or f16 or cut the power back to get less depth of field........ will keep you posted
