For some reason I like this shot, I'm not sure why. The crop doesn't do anything for me, but the old fig? tree and the red seat makes for a stark contrast.

I love it. But perhaps a tad of cloning to remove the 'other' red bench might add to the surreal presence of the principal seat.

Cheers,

It was here before we were born and will be long after we are gone - a pleasing composition of the very old with a modern enhancement :)

Love the shot!
I think you have the composition down spot on due to the size of the fig as it would dwarf the red bench quite easily...
And the red bench in the background doesn't distract as much as it draws the eye into the phot searching for more!!!
Would like to see different perspectives though as I think it "could" add to the Mystery...

Cheers

Nice shot and really nice tree. I can imagine that this shot might be improved slightly with some warmer tones in it, either in PP or by taking the shot when the light is hitting the tree early morning or late evening.

Looks like a nice place though.

It's a really nice pleasant image. It's the sort of spot i would expect to be sitting feeding ducks when i am old and withered. It has a calming iinfluence on me. Great work.

Brings back memories of kindergarten at Daceyville Public School, where we had such a tree in the schoolyard, and on some days we would go out and sit under the shade of that tree for some of our lessons.

Well captured, and well presented.

Nice image cat. I'd like to see it with everything man made taken out (except the main red seat of course). Take out the other red seat, the other background structure and the name plate at the branch cut. Maybe change the branch cuts so they look more "natural". Then the image would look more like a red seat in a forest.
