Phaung Daw U Festival, Lake Inle, Burma
During the Phaung Daw U festival a barge decorated as a mythical bird carries four golden Buddha images around the lake from village to village to bless the village monasteries. There are over 60 monasteries in the Inle Lake area and at least one monastery at each village so the festival takes place over a 20 day period.

Taro
Can you PLEASE stop this. You have managed yet another awesome shot from your travels. I am suitably humbled. Love the reflections, the composition and the colours.

Taro your an inspiration, I had no real interest in travelling the world, but seeing it through your lens... it's a much more attractive, bright and interesting place... Great stuff!

Great saturated bright colours - it almost looks as if shot on slide film.
