Went hunting today for a falcon roost near Ballarat: found it!
Not the best time of day for shots, but this was just a recce trip. At least I got a few worthwhile pieces of art while I was there...

still a nice shot despite the crop.

I thought I saw one of these a couple of weeks ago but wasnt close and moving fast.

looking forward to seeing one of these one day.

I think this is great and dare I whisper it...suits the movement challenge ? Falcon's have to be one of my favourite birds (although I have a few) but their abilities in the sky are awesome, as is there eye sight.
