Hey Darryl, you are really making that lens sing mate as this is a very nice pic. Great shot glad you are enjoying that new lens and well looks like we will be seeing plenty of the birdlife, well done mate.

This guy was away from the rest of the group, there was a pine tree with 15-20 perched in the tree. I took a photo with about 8 in the frame, then I stopped and counted them all
They tend to roost in a tree along the sewer trunk at WTP.

No but will provide some after this weekend Mark a few of us are going out this weekend so there will be somebody to take photos of the full kit on the tripod. Makes it a bit hard with only one camera body.
