D2x(70-200VR) + 5 mates from school days + 2 awesome jetskis = so much fun

A planned wipeout:
(will need your monitor to be on max brightness to see the detail in the dark sections, exposed to keep detail in whites)

nice presentation, i think you would be great at surf photography the contrast and sharpness of the shots are spot on!

There was a lot of water around there for a D2X and VR. Did you have any sort housing or just feeling supremely brave :?:

Heath, thats some cool shots there and look very good oh and fun. Nice border around and get it printed i am sure they would love it as a momento of the things you make you friends do.

Awesome stuff Heath, nice idea well executed.

Now then, if you shot in NEF, do the shots again but this time copy the same image and bump the stop up a bit and layer it over the white water and voilah!!, you can see the dark bits without overexposing the bright whites.

Nice shots Heath. Really shows off the gattling gun power of the D2X and its ability to render sharply action sequence with memories.

be brave put on a short lens and wrap your D2x in plastic and get in close.......great pix's

Heath, great sequence..did your friends deliberatley bail for you? They are falling to the inside where as the jet ski is leaning to the outside...

I really like this sequence and well not sure if we have had a sequence as POTW before but I'd say its a good candidate, among many others.

I reckon these shots are good enough to sell if you have any contacts in the magazine/publishing industry.
