Please look at the thumbnail blown up (thumbnail doesn't do it justice)- actually not too bad.

But I did pick a bad day to take photos outside :) Overcast, very very glarey, midday = could it get any worse???? Picked a solitary bat, knew I was going to blow the sky, but tried to get the head in reasonable exposure/focus. This is the result - an arty farty bat :)

Interesting and nice pic.

Yo the name is batty, the logic is erratic, potato in a jacket, tours in the attic..........
Ahem! And now I will stop singing Batty song from Fern Gully.
I love all of your Batty pics Rel. :D but I think this one stands out because it's so different from the others..... less wildlife, more art. What will Damian say???

Mark, Simon, Trevor & Trish - thanks for the comments, and for looking at my attempt at 'arty farty' :) And judging by the amount of bat shit that I stood in today, I'm pretty sure I won't be licking on THAT new ekka taste sensation :)

And Trish - you are seriously starting to have some major brain explosions girl :) ;) And did Damian like it .... well, kind of :?

Thankyou Mikhail - my 'father-in-law' told me not to waste my time today - the light was too flat..... kind of glad I didn't listen :)
